Transactional Communications Notice

Messages we have to send to run your account. Shown for transparency.

Version: 1.0.0Last updated: April 17, 2026

What this is

Certain messages are required to operate your menthra account. We are telling you about them — this is a notice, not a request for consent you can turn off while your account is active.

What we send

  • Account verification and password reset
  • Billing receipts and payment failures
  • Security alerts (new login, suspicious activity)
  • Material service changes (downtime, policy updates that require re-acceptance)
  • Crisis resources if crisis signals are detected (per your crisis settings)

Why we send them

They are required for us to provide the service you signed up for — contract and legitimate interest under GDPR; contractual grounds under DPDP; standard practice for US.

If you want to stop them

Transactional messages cannot be turned off while your account is active. If you do not want to receive them, the only option is to close your account — see Your Rights.

Marketing is different

Marketing messages are opt-in and can be toggled off at any time. See the Marketing Communications consent.
