What we're asking

Your acknowledgement that you are talking to artificial intelligence in Nova, Ally, Sage, and Bloom — not a licensed therapist — and that menthra is not an emergency service.

Why we're asking

menthra is a wellness platform. We want every user to understand the boundary between AI-powered wellness support and clinical care, and between menthra and emergency services. Clarity keeps you safe and keeps our relationship honest.

What happens if you say yes

You acknowledge:

  • Nova, Ally, Sage, and Bloom are AI companions. They are not licensed clinicians.
  • AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation.
  • Your conversations are processed by AI infrastructure providers in de-identified form under the HIPAA Safe Harbor standard (45 CFR §164.514(b)).
  • menthra is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911 (US), 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or your local emergency number.
  • Crisis detection is automated and imperfect. Do not rely on menthra as a safety net.
  • Evoke (clinical tier) is different — those sessions are with licensed clinicians operating under their professional scope.

What happens if you say no

You cannot use the platform. This acknowledgement is required before any conversation begins.
