Session Recording Consent

Whether voice and video sessions with clinicians are recorded, per session and as a default.

Version: 1.0.0Last updated: April 17, 2026

What we're asking

Permission to record voice and video sessions with clinicians (Evoke) or coaches (Sage). You can set a default and override per session.

Why we're asking

Recordings can help your clinician provide continuity of care, reduce note-taking distraction, and create a record you can return to. They are also sensitive — so we want you to decide, not us.

What happens if you say yes

Sessions are recorded (audio and/or video, depending on the session type) and stored encrypted under your account. Access is limited to you, your clinician or coach, and menthra staff acting under role-based access controls.

You can download your recordings, delete individual recordings, or revoke access at any time.

What happens if you say no

The session proceeds normally without recording. Your clinician or coach can take notes manually.

How to change your mind

Change your default in account settings. Override per session using the recording toggle at the start of the session. Delete past recordings any time via Your Rights.
