Cross-Border Transfer Acknowledgement

Where your data goes if menthra processes it outside your primary jurisdiction — and the safeguards that apply.

Version: 1.0.0Last updated: April 17, 2026

What this is

A notice shown to users whose data will be processed on infrastructure outside their primary jurisdiction, along with the transfer mechanism that protects it.

Where data is processed

menthra's primary infrastructure is in the United States. We are adding regional hosting in additional jurisdictions over time. Before we process your data outside your primary jurisdiction, we rely on one of the following transfer mechanisms:

  • EU / UK — Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, with technical and organizational safeguards (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, audit logging).
  • India — DPDP-compliant contracts and regional hosting where available. Data localization will be implemented as DPDP rules are finalized.
  • Other regions — contractual safeguards equivalent to the source jurisdiction's requirements.

What we're asking

Your acknowledgement that your data may be processed outside your primary jurisdiction under the mechanisms above.

What happens if you say no

If you are in a jurisdiction where cross-border transfer requires explicit consent and you decline, we may not be able to provide the service. Where regional hosting is available we will route you there by default.
