Clinical Escalation Consent

Per-escalation permission to share a context summary with a receiving clinician or partner organization.

Version: 1.0.0Last updated: April 17, 2026

What we're asking

Your consent, asked per escalation, to share a clinical context summary with a clinician or partner organization when you move from AI-only wellness support into human clinical care — or between clinicians.

Why we're asking

The core value of menthra is continuity — you shouldn't have to restart your story every time you switch providers. But what gets shared is your decision. We ask each time so you stay in control.

What we share if you consent

  • A clinical context summary — not your full conversation history
  • Wellness patterns and themes relevant to the presenting concern
  • Any current safety flags or risk indicators
  • Recent assessment results

The receiving clinician or partner organization is contractually bound to protect this data at the same standard menthra does.

What we do not share by default

  • Raw conversation transcripts
  • Data from conversations unrelated to the presenting concern
  • Data from other clinicians or tiers you've used

You can request a fuller transfer if you want — it is an explicit choice, not a default.

What happens if you say no

The escalation still proceeds — the receiving clinician just starts without your context. You can always share more later.

How to change your mind

You can revoke access to your data for a specific clinician or partner at any time by emailing privacy@menthra.ai. See Your Rights.
